Inline dispersing: the flow keeps moving
With inline dispersing, the product is dispersed directly in a piping system, often between two production steps, i.e. from A to B, and sometimes in a tank recirculation loop. The medium flows continuously through the dispersing machine, where powders or liquids are mixed and intensively dispersed. The machine is usually integrated into the production process and ensures that the mixture is immediately available for the next step.
Batch dispersing: everything in one tank
With batch dispersing, the medium is mixed and dispersed in a tank until a uniform dispersion is obtained. Here, the machine operates on a fixed volume and the process runs until the desired final result has been achieved. In this process, the product does not leave the tank and maximum control over the result is guaranteed.

Without proper dispersion, agglomerates, variations in particle size and problems during further processing arise. A well-chosen dispersing method prevents these issues and ensures optimal product quality.
